A set of alphabets investigating the visual effects of gradated line weights on the perception of letterforms. Through the progressive modulation of stroke thicknesses — in both vertical and horizontal axes — between inner and outer contours, the typefaces appear to shift in curvature and shape, despite consistent structure, positioning and stroke frequency.
