A layered typographic system in which multiple letters can be nested inside larger individual letters, thus embedding several levels of textual information within a single space. This approach enables simultaneous macro- and micro-level communication — allowing, for instance, a heading to contain a subtext, or one word to contain another word. By stacking visual and linguistic layers within the same frame, the system provides a stratified, non-linear model of encoded language.
