A highly reductive type system constructed exclusively from horizontal blocks arranged within a fixed unit grid. Letterforms are constructed through variations in parameters such as foreground line weight, background line weight, width, and simulated focus. Initially recognisable as abstract linear patterns, glyphs become decipherable only through relationships between the underlying parametric constraints.
